A retail building from the early 2000s on Egnatia Street hosts THIRTYNINE. The project regards the conversion of the old commercial space into a unique, business-oriented urban center in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Inspired by local monuments, the facade’s dominant color and wooden-like finishes highlight the materiality of past structures. The meticulous removal of the previous facade made way for a contemporary one with large openings and wooden blinds. An exclusive feature is a metal structure supporting large pots with vegetation, enhancing the area’s environment.

The room design features carefully curated furnishings and decor that enhance the overall ambiance of the space. Common areas span the basement, mezzanine, and 5th floor. The basement features a fully equipped gym, while the mezzanine offers a workspace, a warm lobby, and a meeting room. The 5th floor is a versatile space for activities like yoga, private dining, celebrations, and exclusive party bookings. Our goal is to rejuvenate the city center’s accommodation, providing business customers and premium travelers a comfortable and luxurious stay.
