Chora Domes of Elounda is featured in issue 311 of ek magazine.
The four-page presentation explores how seventeen independent guest units form a small-scale settlement of stone-built volumes, planted paths and private courtyards, with views towards Spinalonga.
Rather than reproducing the traditional Cretan house as a fixed form, the project translates its relationship between interior and exterior into a sequence of shaded thresholds and open-air rooms. Stone, water, vegetation and carefully framed views shape a hospitality experience defined by privacy, atmosphere and a close connection to the landscape.
