In the heart of Thessaloniki, the new Me & Joe store unfolds as a study in materiality, curved geometry, and spatial lightness. This corner space, framed by generous glass façades on two sides, opens fully to the city, allowing natural light to embrace the textures and details within.
Plan layout extends across two levels. The ground floor hosts the main retail area and eyewear display, while the mezzanine above accommodates auxiliary functions and the optometry area that visually connects with the space below. Along the side walls and glazed fronts, custom shelving combines brushed inox, warm wood, and a richly veined marble, creating a tactile and balanced composition.
At the centre, a display island anchors the space, designed with the same material palette to highlight the handcrafted eyewear through precision and craftsmanship. A soft pink axis defines the spatial flow, leading the eye toward the curved staircase at the back, also finished in gentle pink tone, that ascends to the mezzanine.
On the narrow façade, mirrored display vitrines reflect the city light and movement, while along the longer glass side, continuous shelving extends across the full length, making the most of the store’s elongated geometry.
