This project is part of the extension and complete renovation of the existing Andreadis School, which accommodates a nursery, a kindergarten, and a primary school. The renovation of the school classrooms was guided by the concept of creating a calm yet stimulating learning environment that supports contemporary educational needs. Each classroom was designed around a unique color identity that flows across floors and ceilings to furniture and details, enhancing visual coherence and spatial recognition for children. The application of the above can be seen through the combination of wood, fabric, and cork in a natural color palette complemented by targeted splashes of color in corners or uses that need to be highlighted. Custom-built storage units and flexible layouts ensure organization and adaptability, while acoustic ceilings, sound-insulated doors, and durable vinyl flooring improve comfort and serve the acoustic needs of the classroom. Thoughtful lighting design and adjustable shading systems provide optimal visual conditions throughout the day. Although the project is still in progress, the first completed samples already reveal a modern, functional, and child-centered environment that enriches the learning experience through simplicity, materiality, and refined architectural detail.
